Ok fellow monkeys, this is a friendly reminder to set up your Auto Save feature!!! Nothing like having a software crash and dropping about 40minutes of work. It’s simple and it has saved my primate booty more than once!
Here is how….
Open Premiere (any project will do, once set it works on all projects)
Go to Edit -> Preferences -> Auto Save
Here is where your personal choice comes in. For me, I set it pretty quick: 5-8 minutes an Max versions of 5.
Press OK and you are covered!
If something does go wrong, maybe a st00pid m-nk3y hits a power line and shuts down your computer. Well pull out your ninja mask and get Premiere back open.
In the folder where your project rests is another folder titled
Adobe Premiere Pro Auto-Save. Yeah, welcome to Ninjitsu.
